All of our hard work has finally paid off!
Saturday, February 17, 2007Our boy is becoming quite independent in the kitchen. Recently he has learned to make his own breakfast. He knows how to climb up on his little chair, get into the freezer, and extract a waffle. He is also a master waffle toaster – they always come out perfect (the toaster is preset). While the brave little toaster does its work the Willis again climbs on his chair. Instead of the freezer (which is usually still open), this time his destination is the sink. You see, from the sink it is possible to reach the syrup. The toaster is done, the plate is waiting, and it’s waffle-time – no parental assistance necessary.
